About Us
Chapel Wild realizes that walking is our natural pace, and that walking in natural areas declutters our minds while resetting that pace. This is for those who visit their local park on the weekend or walk around the city lake after work. We know you aren't a grand adventurer, but that you still want good things - calm, clarity, and peace of mind.
A Christian named St. Porphyrios said, "Nature is the secret gospel." He didn't mean secret in a gnostic way, but that the one who gets outside and interacts with nature will undoubtedly feel the tug of truth.
The breeze, the animals, the waters and mountains - all of nature seems to speak a whispered language and invites us to become who we were meant to be. It calls to us, and we want to answer. It can be brutal because it is also broken, but the beauty around us calls our attention above the brokenness.
To make shirts that hold to core Christian values and invite conversation but that do not marginalize non-believers - that is what I wanted.

Below you can see how I like to spend time outdoors: painting the landscape.
(Many times referred to as "plein air" painting.)
I was on location in the North Georgia mountains outside Hiawassee.
The last photo was the result.
